Review of Dr. Dogs Behavior Solutions

Dr. Dennis Fetko's (Dr. Dogs)  book isn't about obedience training your dog. For obedience training, you want Dove Cresswell's on-line video. Dr. Dogs' book (It is an ebook.) is about solving pet behavior problems.

As Dr. Fetko says, if you obedience train a dog that barks, you'll end up with a dog that sits, stays and --- barks! So obedience training is great, but it's different from dealing with a specific dog problem.  Barking, jumping, soiling and chewing must be dealt with whether your dog is obedience trained or not.

So to teach your dog to stop barking, you must communicate with your dog. You must show the dog the behavior you expect and teach the dog to behave as you choose. This resource teaches you to think like your dog and communicate to your dog so your pet "gets it".
